Whinfell offers a curriculum where unique educational programmes, National Curriculum led, are designed for all individuals on the basis of regular assessments of abilities and progress. Personal targets will be set and progress monitored closely allowing potentials to be supported and developed.
In determining the young person's curriculum we will have been careful to match provision with the boy's statement and both local and individual circumstances. The curriculum aims will be shared by all involved with Whinfell, professionals, significant others and the young people themselves. We will endeavour to develop aims that build on the strengths of our boys and reflect their specific needs.
